The Raging Elk

The Raging Elk Adventure Lodge is designed for any avid skier or snowboarder who wants a relaxing social atmosphere to unwind in after a hard day on the slopes. Definitely one of the cheaper places to stay in Fernie.

Comfortable leather couches whilst you utilise their free wireless internet service, or enjoy meeting travellers from across the world as you have a game of pool. If you just want to chill out be sure to watch one of an extreme ski and snowboard movies in their theatre style TV room.

The lodge boasts a large fully loaded kitchen with adjoining log dinning areas, where you can cook up your favourite meals or enjoy or daily complimentary pancakes drizzled in maple syrup. New also this year is a super large log deck and entrance..... .enjoy Fernie mountain views and beer on one of their social decks at the rear or front of the building and meet a couple of quite furry friends out there!!.

All of the private rooms on the upper levels of our building have epic views of the mountains; these rooms have been designed with funky "Austin Powers" en-suites. The dorm section for the inquisitive traveller seems to be a group favourite and it provides a sociable, fun, interactive experience. For a true Raging Elk experience, you must not miss out on is our sauna after a powder day and the classic snow roll afterwards.... It is guaranteed a good laugh. Other facilities at the hostel include a ski and snowboard tuning room, ski and snow board storage and ski shuttle pick up and drop off from the front doors. Airport shuttle service can be arranged.
