The main decision to be made when choosing accommodation within Fernie is whether to choose to stay in Fernie town itself or at the alpine resort area. There are benefits of both but staying in town will give you far more options in terms of bars, restaurants and activities off the slopes. The town is also only a 10 min drive to the alpine resort so you won't be missing any ski time through travelling to the slopes. The town also offers a much greater range of accommodation prices meaning a stay in Fernie won't empty your wallet. However, fantastic accommodation is also available in the alpine resort area all walking distance to your morning lift to the top of the mountain.
