Pretty damn important!

Insurance whilst travelling is pretty much a must have no matter what activity you participate in. Particularly with winter sports, a comprehensive package covering all aspects of your chosen winter sport is needed. An insurance package for skiing or snowboarding needs to have off-piste cover, or as they say in France a ‘Carte Neige’.

NONSTOP has no affiliation with an insurance company but for our winter snowsports courses we recommend Travel and General Insurance. The main reason for this is that the package they offer covers ski or snowboard trips longer than 30 days and whereas other companies will cover for up to £2000 or £3000 if you have to leave the course or stop your travels, their full package will cover for up to £8000.
